Since 2017, I have been photographing land-based activism along the Trans Mountain pipeline that runs from the Alberta Tar Sands to the Pacific Ocean. Indigenous Land Defenders and settler actions have included the Kinder Morgan protest (Burnaby Terminal) Camp Cloud protests, the Coast Salish Watchhouse that was constructed on the pipeline route, the SFU-led forest canopy tent protests and the Tiny House Warrior Village constructed by Kanhaus & Mayuk Maunel that has occupied Secwepemc traditional territory for over three years.
